Inscriptions

Any inscription needed for new or existing monuments and markers can be arranged directly with us.  We offer the convenience of arranging when you visit to make the final interment arrangements presenting you and your family with one less item to worry about.  Something as important as a final date is sometimes overlooked by families when dealing with so many issues and emotions at once. You or your family may also pre-arrange for the inscription of a final date as part of your pre-need cemetery, funeral, and monument planning package - all with Cataraqui Cemetery and Funeral Services.  Inscriptions are forever, we believe quality matters.

Notice: As of July 1st, 2012, in conjunction with the new provincial legislation and consequent amendments to the By-Laws of The Cataraqui Cemetery Company (2012),  all inscriptions are subject to an application and Cemetery review process for approval.  As the cemetery's stewards, our staff is required to ensure that the inscriptions are tasteful, compliant, and properly authorized by the Interment Rights Holder.  We are also required to ensure that outside suppliers meet our health & safety and WSIB requirements.  If you or your family have made arrangements with an outside company to perform inscription work at Cataraqui Cemetery,  application forms have been forwarded directly to the local companies to have on hand for your request.  An Inscription Application can also be downloaded here.  The application is to be completed by both you and the provider and once complete it is to be submitted to the Cemetery for consideration and approval.
