Oh dear Aunt Betty, what a wonderful lady. So sweet, so gentle, so kind. As was the case with Uncle Trev, most of my memories come from the great times we had at the cottage. I remember Mom and Aunt Betty cooking bacon and eggs for 12 hungry souls. The kitchen was like a small food factory while all the kids were lined up waiting to be fed in the front porch. Afterwards it was off to swim and again Mom and Aunt Betty would sit on the shore and count heads to ensure all the kids were still above water. They never lost any but I do recall one close call where their counting paid off when a friend of mine got stuck under the raft. The Goslett’s were always graciously welcomed and well taken care of when they visited Kingston. I think Aunt Betty must have spent most of those weekends in the kitchen. Another great memory was the family picnics at the Bomanville Zoo with Grampa Goslett. Again, thanks to Aunt Betty and Mom, all those children were well fed. It’s great to have so many memories of such a wonderful women. May she now rest in peace. Reg Goslett
