- Aylmer , QC- Oct. 26 , 2022 // - sincere heartfelt conolences to Marie-Thérèse & Don's extended family from Don & Merri Curtin
I had the pleasure of knowing Don as a high school chum in Richmond Hil , a shipmate on the R.V. Porte Dauphine research ship ( Great Lakes scientific surveys ) , University of Toronto fellow students,, & get togethers in Tobermory , - & Ottawa & vicinity in more recent years.
Don's upbeat cheerfulness, wide interests in gardening , literature , & music etc. - sports accomplishments in high school - will always be in my memory .
Don's passing leaves an unfillable space in our world . Requiescat in pace. // - Donald Stewart Curtin.

Don will truly be missed.
I loved when he was telling me about his boys and he spoke about you all the time. He would tell us about son1, son 2, or son 3.
He always made such an effort to include everyone and loved having Marie by his side.
Don could not have ask for a more loving or loyal partner.
Thinking of all of you at this time.

My father stood on the sidelines of every soccer game I played…in 2 hours of brutal rain, ice cold. An image of him standing with an umbrella and a winter coat watching me play.
A trip to NYC, Broadway, the Guggenheim, Empire State Building
Taking a canoe, paddling as far as we could on Allouette lake to camp in Wilderness, with de-hydrated eggs and spam!
My memories…

May the happy memories that you and Don shared together be a consolation today and in the days ahead. Don was a gracious, gentle, kind man. As I think of him, I reflect on the joy that music brought to his life - always ready to sing a song.
