I was just thinking about Phil the other day and wondering about what his life has been like since our work days at UTDC back in the 80’s. Phil was such a kind and gentle man. I have a recipe that he brought into work for me which Polly had made him for dinner - “Polynesian Chicken with Pears”. I have only made it once since then but agreed with him it was so delicious for such an unlikely combination of ingredients. Whenever I come across it in my recipe book I always think of Phil and his happy, sincere way of being. My sincere condolences to Phil’s family and friends. You were so fortunate to have shared his life.
