I am deeply saddened today to learn the passing of four wonderful individuals that I was fortunate enough to know through a very special family member during the early 80's ...
They will all be in my deepest memories living or passed on until my own heart ceases to beat...
So long Mr&Mrs Westbrook, Wendy and Wayne...
Kind regards,,,

My deepest sympathies to family and friends. So sad to hear that this wonderful, kind and beautiful soul is no longer with us. I had the privilege and great pleasure of knowing Wendy, Raymond and her family through her dedicated care of Patti who I know finally found a real home and family love with the McGlynn's. Always thoughtful and loving to all, she will be so missed. My deepest condolences. Linda Herbison

We are so sorry for all the family our deepest Condolences to everyone God has gained another beautiful Angel. Wendy was one of kindest women I knew she was so good to our children when they were small with all her sweet little surprise packages when we came to Ottawa or Kingston or even when my brother Ian and Kristen came with our niece Hartley to Toronto. Also, when we had some tough situations happen she was such a kind caring woman who helped us in many ways . One thing I can say is Hartley was loved so much by her she was her whole world and as a Aunt who lived in Toronto I was so thankful knowing that . She also adored my brother Ian and her love for my sister in law was so deep and true . She will be greatly missed xoxo Love Tracy,Vito,Vince,Samantha and Isabella Iozzo and Marta Iozzo

Wendy, your heart is so pure, you carried a light with you everywhere you went. You could make anyone your best friend, and the kindness you brought into our lives, is something I will hold so dear to my heart for the rest of my life. I will cherish each and every memory with you, like our laughs and stories we shared by the pool in Florida. We sat drinking our extra massive coffees and watched the day turn to night. You would tell Jordan and I all the time how proud you were of us, and my heart is weak and shaky as I even type this because I wish you knew how much that really meant to us.
No matter, you would offer the shirt off your back. You knew no evil. I know you are looking down, and seeing many tears but, that is how you know how loved you really were, and how many people you touched over your lifetime. I just know you are giving the biggest hugs, and enjoying missed conversations with Raymond, which I am sure he missed as well.
Nothing will fix the pain that took place when you were called to God, but just know your family is taken care of, loved, and we will always make sure they are okay.
Thank you for being my friend, Wendy.

My Dear friend of 42 years. We met while attending St Lawrence College to study Nursing but while picking up our kids Shawn and Kristen at the Oakwood daycare after class. We then became neighbours when we moved to Glenburnie. Soon after, we began working together at the Quinte Thousand Island Lodge until it closed and Wendy chose retirement. We continued our friendship beyond that. I will miss her Dearly. I find comfort in knowing she is with her beloved husband Raymond who she sorely missed.
Rest Peace my friend. Until we meet again xo
