I am so sorry to learn, as I have just minutes ago, about Katherine's passing. In the 1970's and early 80's I used to refer to Katherine and her ex-husband Doug Holland as Mr. and Mrs. Co-op. Their involvement at Toronto's Karma Food Co-op and what was then known as the Ontario Food Co-op and Clubs was critical to the survival of both those organizations. I spent many long hours with Katherine, and often Doug, in meetings and travelling to meetings, sometimes for hours in order to get there. Katherine was totally committed, very determined, really smart, and enormously competent. Rest in peace dear woman.
