Dear Rick & Jim, Much as I'd like to be there tomorrow it seems that my presence is required in another hospital on an urgent family matter. Sincerely, Dave Oltmann

I haven't seen Connie since our student nurse days and was hoping to see her at the next 50 year anniversary for the class of 68. My condolences to the family, I'm sure each of you will have special memories, mine go back to our time in the young people's group at Alta Vista in Ottawa. Unfortunately I will not be able to come back for her celebration of life but will be remembering her kindness and compassion and her sense of fun.

Dear Rick, Jim and Families: Keith and I were so saddened to hear of Connie's passing. It was always great to visit with her at Family Gatherings and here in Kingston. My Mother so much appreciated Connie's visits to her at her home and then at her Retirement Home in Ottawa and then at Trillium Nursing Home when she moved to Kingston. Those visits meant so much to my Mom. Our deepest condolences to you all. Margery and Keith Brownlee

I never worked directly with Connie, but over many years working at KGH our paths crossed many times. I always found her to be a professional and caring nurse. Her work with ONA was long and varied, we had many discussions( often on opposite sides of the discussion) ,but I always found Connie to be a great advocate for both patients and nurses. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed!

To Connie's family & friends, I was saddened to hear of Connie's passing away. Though I hadn't seen her since she was young, I continued praying for her, & had her, & Rick, & Jim, especially the day before her passing. May God be with you & all your family & her friends at this time, & comfort you. Love, Kitty (Oltmann) Barratt

Our sympathies to Rick and Jim and the family. Connie was a dear friend especially during our teen years when we were in youth group together. I have many fond memories (and pictures!) of our exploits together. As second cousins, we kept in touch sporadically over the years after we both left Ottawa but when we did connect, it was as if we had never been apart. Her memory always brings a smile. Praying that God will comfort you in this time of loss. Nora Lea

To the family of Connie, we very saddened to read of her passing! We both graduated from the same nursing school, Don a year before Connie, and Sheila two years after. When we came back from North Carolina in 2000, we once again had the pleasure of seeing Connie when we started work at KGH. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Don and Sheila Cooper, Kingston
